When I wear Lehenga

Lehengas are the prettiest of the Indian attires. Those flowing skirts draped along with a dupatta with a crop top speak aloud for themselves. Variations can be done to a lehenga and made perfect fit for a body type. Here is a lehenga that is simply cut out in a flowing skirt with a nice colored border and a blouse with a sheath orange dupatta.

The lehenga is a rust shade with a magenta color border of velvet. The dupatta has intricate embroidery of stones with zardozi and light velevt border of magenta and blue color. The blouse is simple in Magenta color with a deep cut back and full sleeves.

IMG_7632Here in the picture above the models are a young girl with a small baby girl. Both wearing a lehenga. However here we see a variation in the lehenga. The baby girl has a full torso and a flowy skirt. On the contrary the young girl has a short blouse with a flowy skirt.

The look has been kept minimal with no jewellery to focus completely on the lehenga. The model is seen wearing a wrist watch only. A lehenga look can be made to look simple and uber glamorous too. For a Prabhat Pheri we did the simple look.

Soon we shall post a lehenga look for Marriages.Keep reading .
